[ without moving her chin from her hand, she shifts her wrist so that she can cover her mouth with her fingers. she doesn't want him to see her smile, even though he'd easily be able to tell.

she could be annoying and ask him how. how does he want her? to watch movies? but she thinks it's only fair that she picks and chooses when she's difficult. ]

You invited me over to have sex.

[ she shifts her hand away and looks up at him with a smile, still resting her chin on her hand. ]

And I came over here to have sex with you.

[ even if that's not what he means, it's what she means. ]

( stefan blushes because he hadn't expected her to be quite so...straightforward about it. but that's stupid because this is katherine and it's what she does. he clears his throat and then ducks his head. )

Maybe.

( it was kind of what he was hoping for, yes. )

No, definitely. It's definitely why I invited you over.

[manipulative]

[ lucky for him, he changes his answer. she was about to raise her brow in disbelief at his attempt to play coy.

pressing her lips together, she nods. ] So is this invitation for a drink all part of your seduction? [ she traces the brim of her glass with her finger of the hand he isn't holding.

she's simply teasing, but she wouldn't mind if he blushed a little more. ]

Not...really.

( he shrugs a bit, cheeks flushing a darker red as he looks away to try and hide what he knows is a blush. )

I just wanted to give us a chance to talk first. That's all.

[manipulative]

[ mission success. ]

Red's a nice colour on you.

[ she can't help herself. he's admitted he wants her and katherine's riding this high. considering she's a girl who has very bad luck in finding good things, she's going to hold on tight to this one and milk it for all it's worth.

she smirks. ]

So what's on the seduction topic list? Hm? Are you going to ask me if my feet hurt? If I need a massage?

( that just makes him blush even more, something he tries to hide by ducking his head. but, she's going to see it so he just...let's it happen. )

Do your feet hurt? Do you need a massage?

( well, since she brought it up and all. )

Yes.

[ she says that one quickly. she has no shame—she looks at him with a smile on her face, daring him to back down from this now. so, he's invited her over here for a midday romp. katherine's not particularly upset about that.

but she does hide her own nervousness with her bravado. there's no room in this house away from civilisation for two of them to behave all bumbling and blushing-like. ]

Are you going to give me one?

I can.

( he hasn't given a foot massage in awhile but he thinks he still knows enough to make sure he doesn't cripple her when he touches her feet.

he reaches for her wine glass and picks it up, putting them near the sink before nodding towards the living room. )

Come on, let's go sit down.

[manipulative]

[ she kind of expected him to balk. now it's katherine who does, staring at him for a moment as he takes her wine glass.

there's nothing else for her to do but to follow him to his living room. if she doesn't, then that means he wins this game of chicken, and she doesn't like losing at all. dropping onto the couch, she makes no move to remove her shoes.

she does make a point to look around. ]

This place is so much more comfortable than the Boarding House.

[ no damon. ]

That's because your favorite Salvatore is nowhere to be seen.

( he knows how she feels about damon and he knows what damon would say if he knew they were together.

he doesn't care.

stefan moves to take a seat beside her, motioning for her to lift one of her legs towards him. )

I like this place. I don't come here nearly enough.

[manipulative]

You should probably change that.

[ she leans forward to pull her shoes off and lets them lie haphazardly on the floor. while katherine wouldn't mind him touching her foot and then hopefully her leg, she decides she wants something else. touching her feet and maybe teasing her ankle isn't enough, not after his little confession in the kitchen.

at his invitation, she pushes herself up and lies her head on his lap. ]

I decided a head massage would be a far better use of your fingers.

[prescind]

Oh, did you? What if I was only prepared for a foot massage?

( stefan smirks down at her before reaching to slide his fingers gently through her hair. it's not quite a massage but he's getting there. )

I don't know if I'm qualified for a head massage.

[manipulative]

I can go somewhere else if it's causing you too much stress.

[ though this would be the perfect time to start getting up, katherine remains where she is with her head in his lap. two of her weaknesses are present on this couch—stefan salvatore and her hair being played with.

she closes her eyes and lets out a relaxed breath. ]

But I have faith you'll be able to adapt quickly. Something tells me you'd very much like to.

I learn fast.

( he presses his fingers against her temples, rubbing circles gently in her skin while he peers down at her. )

How's that? Good for a start?

[manipulative]

[ she hums. ] Yes.

[ honestly, if this is what he invited her over for, she will accept each and every one of his invitations to meet him in the middle of nowhere. it's been so long since someone's done this for her. she almost thinks to forfeit her entire plan that she's put into motion by asking him to do this. ]

I could honestly fall asleep. It feels good.

When's the last time you slept?

( he lowers his voice because if she is going to fall asleep, he wants to make it a little easier for her. he presses his fingers harder into her temples before sliding them gently into her hair and down her scalp. )

You been busy?

[manipulative]

[ oh, this entire plan for a head massage has a high risk of backfiring.

after a low moan, katherine doesn't respond for a moment, enjoying his fingers in her hair. ]

Very busy.

[ she thinks to open her eyes to peer up at him, but his fingers feel so good in her hair that she can't even manage to open one.

teasing, ] There's this guy. He keeps asking me to meet him in places—coffee shops, predominantly—and now a house in the middle of nowhere. He's kept me very busy entertaining his high maintenance self.

[prescind]

You could have said no.

( but she hadn't, had she? she'd kept coming out to see him whenever he called her. she'd never once said no. )

If it was so hard, why'd you keep coming? Nothing else to do?

( he brings his finger to her scalp, massaging firmly. )

[manipulative]

Would you believe it?

[ of course he wouldn't. she's the most exciting person he knows. she smiles and keeps her eyes closed, wanting to play off any meaning that may entail.

it's not a big deal she came every time he wanted to meet up, and it's not a big deal when she extended the invitation, either.

she sighs, half in contentment and half in show. ]

Maybe I wanted to see you. You were the only person on my contact list who bothered to text me.

[ that sounds far more pathetic than she'd like. ]

How big's your contact list?

( for some reason, he can't imagine she keeps it very large just for precautionary reasons. she wouldn't want anyone to be a loose end. )

Anyone interesting on it?

( he keeps his fingers moving firmly against her head, trying to soothe any stress or worry she might have. )

[manipulative]

[ pursing her lips, she takes a moment to think. ]

An Original and maybe a very famous person.

[ she sighs, shifting her shoulders. she could fall asleep if she keeps letting him work his magic, dangerous fingers. so, it's time for plan b. ]

My shoulders hurt.

[prescind]

Your shoulders hurt?

( he takes his hands away from her head, peering down at her with a frown. )

Do you want me to stop?

( or was that a subtle way of asking him to massage her shoulders instead of her head. )

[manipulative]

[ she opens her eyes to glare up at him. ]

My shoulders hurt, Stefan. Don't you want to help me out?

[ sometimes this boy is so hopeless in picking up the hints she's dropping down. he's invited her over to have sex, she's got him touching her in a very nice way, and he thinks she wants him to stop.

he's so lucky he's cute. ]

Yeah, I wanna help you. Do you want me to massage those?

( is that what she was hinting at? he gestures for her to turn around so he can get at her shoulders. )

I can do that.

[ oh, good.

katherine plants her hands on the couch beside her and pushes herself up and throws herself over the side of the couch. spinning around, she lies down so she can press her cheek against his leg and look out at his living room. ]
